Are you looking to give back to your community? Do you enjoy supporting community events? Want to get involved in local activities and meet new people?

Beaver Valley Recreation, based in Fruitvale, BC, is seeking volunteers to provide time and support to run local community and recreation events throughout the year, including but not limitted to monthly seniors luncheons, community paddle nights at Champion Lakes and seasonal events like Breakfast with Santa and the Halloween Skate.

Volunteers play an integral role in organizing and supporting these events, and we are excited to welcome new faces who are passionate about giving back to the community. We are seeking volunteers who can donate their time and efforts to assist with:

• event planning
• event set up and clean up
• helping at activities
• providing assistance during events

“We’re incredibly proud of the diverse range of events we offer here in the Beaver Valley,” says Jayme Fowler, Event Coordinator of Beaver Valley Recreation. “Our goal is to provide a welcoming and vibrant space where people of all ages can come together, make lasting memories and contribute to the strength of our community. We’re also eager to connect with new volunteers who can bring fresh energy and ideas to help us continue growing and improving our events.”
