The RDKB is currently seeking applications to fill a casual Program Leader position located in Grand Forks, BC, reporting to the Community Programmer.
The Program Leader is responsible for the well-being and safety of participants in Grand Forks Recreation programs. Duties include execution of engaging activities for children participating in day camps, assisting in the development of new programs, supervising participants to make sure they are safe and happy, and facility supervision and clean up.

Applicants must possess the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Past experience working with children in a supervisory manner
- WHMIS (asset)
- Standard First Aid (asset)
- Leadership Training (asset)
- Bronze Medallion and/or Bronze Cross (asset)
- Volunteer coaching and/or officiating experience (asset)

Position Information
Status: Casual
Hours of work: Typically Fridays, 8am-4pm, with occasional additional event based shifts throughout the week
Union: CUPE Local 2254
Compensation: $22.50/Hour (2025) + 10% in lieu of benefits
