PROGRAM LEADER
CASUAL - GRAND FORKS RECREATION
The RDKB is currently seeking applications to fill a casual Program Leader position in Grand Forks.
Duties include leading engaging activities for children participating in RDKB programs, supervising participants to make sure they are safe and happy, and facility supervision and clean up. In this role, the Program Leader shall:
- Supervise and participate in programming activities with participants of all ages.
- Build positive relationships with participants, parents, other staff members, facility staff, and the community
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Past experience working with children in a supervisory manner
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others and thrive in a team first environment
- Additional certification or experience considered an asset, including:
- Volunteer coaching and/or officiating experience
- WHMIS Certificate
- Standard First Aid
- Leader Training such as "Run, Jump, Throw, Wheel", and "High Five: Principles of Healthy Child Development"
- Bronze Medallion and/or Bronze Cross
