LANDFILL ATTENDANT

PERMANENT FULL-TIME - ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

McKelvey Creek Landfill

The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary invites qualified applicants from within the Bargaining Unit CUPE Local 2254 to apply for a permanent full-time Landfill Attendant position in the Environmental Services department for work at the McKelvey Creek Landfill.

DUTIES:

The duties, reporting structure and required qualifications are as per the attached Job Description.

SALARY:

The position offers a rate of pay of $29.97 (2025 rates) per hour. Full-time employees will receive benefits as per the Collective Agreement. 

HOURS OF WORK:

Permanent full-time:

4 days per week (29 hours)

Wednesday and Thursday, 9:30am - 3:30pm and Friday and Saturday, 8:15am - 4:45pm
