Accounts and Program Clerk

Location: Grand Forks

The RDKB is seeking applications to fill a Accounts and Program Clerk position at the Grand Forks Aquatic Centre, on a temporary full-time basis. Expected to commence in September 2024 and run for 1 year, this contract will provide coverage for a permanent employee on a maternity leave.

Reporting to the Manager of Facilities and Recreation, the Accounts and Program Clerk is responsible for providing primary clerical, accounting, and program support within the administrative function of the Recreation Office, ensuring confidentiality and privacy in all that they do.

Applicants must possess the following qualifications, experience and skills:

  • Two-year diploma in Business Administration, or similar
  • 1 year Accounts Payable experience
  • 1 year Administration experience, ideally in recreation or government environment
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Experience with cloud-based point-of-sale software and back-end operations considered an asset
  • Professional computer skills and experience
  • BC Class 5 Drivers License
